Specialist Support Coordinator

Emily has been working within the NDIS space as a Specialist Support Coordinator for many years and brings over a decade of experience in the broader disability sector.

She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Applied Social Studies and a Master's Degree in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. Throughout her career, Emily has supported a diverse range of individuals—from those with mild intellectual disabilities and dual diagnoses involving mental health, substance use, or trauma, to clients with highly complex physical and intellectual disabilities. She is especially skilled in working with clients in crisis or with urgent support needs, where her therapeutic background is invaluable.

Emily understands that navigating the NDIS can be overwhelming, and she believes that having the right Support Coordinator can make a world of difference. She is committed to educating and empowering her clients and their families with the knowledge and tools they need to access the most suitable supports available.

Team Leader/ Specialist Support Coordinator

Before joining Marli and Moe, Aaryn spent over four years working in crisis out-of-home care settings and as a disability support worker. In both roles, he supported individuals with complex needs and trauma backgrounds, bringing a compassionate and holistic approach that considers each client’s lived experiences to ensure support is delivered appropriately and respectfully.

Aaryn holds a Bachelor of Psychology and a Bachelor of Commerce (Marketing). During his studies, he was actively involved in a not-for-profit organisation, where he helped develop mental health programs for students—an experience he found both exciting and rewarding.

Within the NDIS space, Aaryn has gained extensive experience, from coordinating everyday services and therapies to managing complex crisis situations. He has worked with people with a broad range of needs, including physical, intellectual, and psychosocial disabilities, which has enabled him to maintain a diverse caseload and deepen his knowledge across various areas of support.

Aaryn is well-versed in collaborating with multiple stakeholders and navigating complex systems, including government departments such as Health, Mental Health, Communities and Justice, and Education. He also has significant experience liaising with NDIA Complex Support Needs teams while supporting both children and adults under the scheme.

Client preferences and goals are at the forefront of Aaryn’s practice. He is committed to delivering support that is consistent, timely, and tailored to the individual needs of each person he works with.

Tenille McIntyre

Team Leader/ Specialist Support Coordinator

Disability and mental health support have always been close to Tenille's heart. Her journey with the NDIS began through supporting her son, River, giving her first-hand insight into how confronting and confusing the system can be. With this experience, Tenille is committed to providing reliable and compassionate support that empowers clients to reach their goals through the NDIS.

As a therapy assistant and group facilitator, Tenille has always approached her work with empathy and a person-centred mindset. She has supported children, adolescents, and adults with a wide range of personalities and needs, always striving to meet each individual where they are.

Tenille is currently studying a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) at the University of Wollongong. She is a passionate advocate for inclusivity, acceptance, and equality—particularly for gender-diverse individuals—and is committed to being part of the positive change toward a society that embraces and celebrates difference.

Brandon Hickey

Specialist Support Coordinator

Brandon is passionate about working with youth and participants with physical, intellectual, and psychological disabilities. His previous experience as a disability support worker and a crisis out-of-home carer for young people has given him a deep understanding of the unique needs of individual participants and how to implement a holistic approach to their care. These roles have provided Brandon with hands-on experience working directly with participants on a day-to-day basis.

Brandon has completed a Certificate IV in Child, Youth, and Family Intervention, along with additional units in counselling and disability services. He has also undertaken therapeutic crisis intervention training and has worked under the principles of trauma-informed care and person-centred care.

Brandon believes in an individualized approach for each participant and strives to empower them to maintain autonomy over their care by providing informed choices. He chose to become a Support Coordinator to play a greater role in helping participants navigate the NDIS and access the support and care they need.

Brittany has over ten years of experience working directly with children, young people, and their families within the child and family community sector. She holds a Bachelor of Social Science and a Postgraduate Diploma in Family Therapy. Brittany’s core experience and passion lie in helping families navigate a range of challenges that can impact family functioning, including trauma, attachment and bonding, substance misuse, mental health, disability, child development, and social isolation.

Brittany understands the profound impact stress can have on a family unit and acknowledges that each family member responds differently to stressful life events. She believes every individual and family has the right to access the appropriate services and interventions to help them become the best versions of themselves. Brittany takes a person-centred approach, truly valuing the life stories of the people she supports. She strives to build strong, collaborative relationships with her clients to achieve the best outcomes in a safe, fun, and supportive environment.

Melissa Panetta

Specialist Support Coordinator

Prior to joining Marli and Moe, Melissa worked in the healthcare sector for over nine years, supporting children, adolescents, and their families who presented with a wide range of complex mental health issues as an intake officer.

Melissa holds a Graduate Diploma in Psychological Science, a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology), and is in the final stages of her Honours in Bachelor of Psychology. She has a personal passion for supporting vulnerable populations and, in 2016, undertook a placement in Fiji to evaluate the effectiveness of Psychological First Aid and counseling following Tropical Cyclone Winston.

Melissa combines her empathic approach with a passion for supporting individuals with physical, psychosocial, and intellectual needs. Drawing on her own lived experience of navigating the NDIS, she understands the importance of prioritising participants' choices in meeting their goals.

With extensive experience navigating relevant stakeholders—including allied health professionals, housing providers, and government agencies—Melissa ensures a coordinated and holistic approach to care in a professional and timely manner.

With her education and in-depth knowledge of complex mental health presentations, Melissa is equipped to support a diverse caseload with compassion, respect for participants' autonomy, and a commitment to their self-determination.

Jasmine is a bright and friendly person who strives to ensure her clients feel genuinely supported and cared for. She always endeavours to find the positives in any challenging situation.

Entering the disability workforce with a deep passion for supporting vulnerable people in the community, Jasmine brings valuable experience to her new role as a Support Coordinator. She holds a Bachelor of Criminal Justice and has previously worked as a Child Protection Caseworker—experience that will serve her well in understanding and meeting the needs of her clients.

In her spare time, Jasmine enjoys spending time outdoors with her puppies and socialising with friends and family.

Specialist Support Coordinator

Simone is passionate about mental health, crisis work, and disability support. She holds a Bachelor of Psychology and a Bachelor of Primary Education from Macquarie University, with a particular interest in social work.

Simone has an extensive background in child protection and community services. She has worked alongside many service providers, offering crisis support for young people and families. Her experience includes facilitating access to accommodation services during times of homelessness, attending multidisciplinary meetings, and creating crisis action plans to ensure safety.

Simone is dedicated to creating a safe space for individuals during vulnerable times and is motivated to help clients achieve their goals and overcome challenges.
